Season 2: Unfortunately, Rachel's brave intention to announce her feelings is scuppered in the season opener "T.O.W. Ross' New Girlfriend". It doesn't matter how great her hair looks (a real-life accident when a friend cut it with a razor), or how many sneaky tricks she tries to separate them. Ultimately it takes a peculiar doppelganger to lure the new girl away in "T.O.W. Russ" (Schwimmer credited as "Snaro"). The Friends couldn't be happier to have the angst and tension relieved, and "T.O.W. Ross and Rachel ... You Know" is unsurprisingly an all-time fan favourite. This was straightforward compared to the other side of Ross' love life in "T.O.W. the Lesbian Wedding" though. Initiating another will-they/won't-they subplot was the introduction of Richard (Tom Selleck) as a new flame for Monica. Highlights for the other characters all centred on the Emmy-winning two-part "T.O. W. After the Super Bowl" with a stunning cameo list including Brooke Shields, Chris Isaak, Dan Castellaneta (Homer from The Simpsons), Jean-Claude Van Damme and Julia Roberts (whom Perry subsequently dated a short while). Another great highlight was Chandler and Joey's ineptitude in "T.O.W the Baby on the Bus", which also featured Chrissie Hynde giving Phoebe's "Smelly Cat" its best ever rendition on guitar. To leave viewers hanging, the year ended with Rachel in understandable uncertainty over "T.O.W. Barry and Mindy's Wedding" (her ex-fiancé and ex-best friend). --Paul TonksCustomer reviews: Crazy Snake Man, 2003-02-26 As Friends began its second series, many wondered whether it could keep up the brilliant humour that made it so successful. It just got so much better. TOW Heckles Dies confirms my belief that Matthew Perry is a comic genius - nobody should live without hearing his 'Crazy Snake Man' speech. The other episodes are excellent - the relationship between Ross and Rachel is dealt with sensibly and realisticly, something that is not always true in later series. The Friends crew have had haircuts, which means that you can acually see Matthew Perry's face, and they look like they may perhaps have come from this decade. The lighting isn't as garish as in series 6 and 7 - In short, this was, in my opinion, the best series. And TOW Heckles Dies is the best episode. If you like Friends but not Chandler, you're crazy. If you like Chandler, and you don't love his Crazy Snake Man speech, you're crazier.
Theeeee most HILARIOUS Friends video ever !, 2000-10-29 This has to be the best Friends video ever. All of the 4 episodes on this are classics. The scenes in the 1st episode where Pheobe "cuts" Monica's hair are side-splitting,and when the gang meet Julie! When Rachel finds out about Monica's friendship with Julie, she reacts as if Monica has had an affair, and the dialogue between them is fantastic.in the 3rd episode where Mr Heckles(the grumpy neighbour)dies,he leaves all of his things to Monica and Rachel, and the gang find he owned some very interesting belongings...!In the last episode, fans will be stunned to realise that Pheobe has a husband, but there is a twist to that story! The scene where they both scratch their chickenpox with ovengloves is brilliant viewing!Overall,if you're looking for any Friends video to buy, make sure it's this one.
