My husband bought me the PC version for my birthday years ago, it was so popular with me and my friends that he had to buy me another one to get a second dance mat! When he bought me a PS2 a couple of years later I hunted around but could only find the PSOne version, which didn't live up to the PC game.
Now I have the PS2 version. Having amused my nieces and newphews no end by turing up at family do's with my PS2 and dancemats - and even managed to get my father to have a go on his 70th birthday - this is a firm family favourite, now owned by many of my relatives too.
It's not too difficult, even at extreme level, but its fun for any age and everyone knows the songs to sing along (at least they do now!).
It's not the only dance mat game I have, I do have quite a few, but it's the one we always go back to.
