My son loves the Book, Movies and now the soundtrack.
Great Gift for Potter Lovers !
Masterful Score, 2008-03-18
This soundtrack, if possible, exceeds the quality of the previous score in this series. Williams builds on old themes and creates new ones. A must have!
The prologue features Hedwig's Theme, one of my all time favorites. What follows is a masterfully composed musical adventure, from the sinister "The Chamber of Secrets," to the stirring "Fawkes the Phoenix," and the friendly strings of "Reunion of Friends."
Another one of my favorites is "Dobby the House Elf." It has a sort of subtle nobility, if that makes sense.
Overall, a very, very good score. Almost each song is fun to listen to, moving through the story with as much excitement and magic as the film and book.
A must have for not only Potter fans, but music fans in general. Customers who bought this item also bought:
