Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 6 DVD Collection

Willow becomes ever more caught up in the temptations of magic; Xander and Anya move towards marriage without ever discussing their reservations; Giles feels he is standing in the way of Buffy's adult independence; Dawn feels neglected. What none of them need is a menace that is, at this point, simply annoying--three high school contemporaries who have turned their hand to magical and high-tech villainy. Added to this is a hungry ghost, an invisibility ray, an amnesia spell and a song-and-dance demon (who acts as rationale for the incomparable musical episode "Once More With Feeling").

This is a year in which chickens come home to roost: everything from the villainy of the three geeks to Xander's doubts about marriage come to a head, often--as in the case of the impressive wedding episode--through wildly dark humour. The estrangement of the characters from each other--a well-observed portrait of what happens to college pals in their early 20s--comes to a shocking head with the death of a major character and that death's apocalyptic consequences. The series ends on a consoling note which it has, by that point and in spite of imperfections, entirely earned. --Roz Kaveney

Well this season for me wasent its best it sarted off good when buffys friends would bring her back from the dead in bargaining part 1 & 2 after that it went a little down hill with its lack of action.


But the best storylines for this seaaon would be willow becoming addicted ti ,agic and ending up loosing her relationship with tara she decides she needs help to stop using magic then as she is getting better tragedy strikes when warran kills tara ans willow wants her revenge . The season came up again when willow and buffy had a showdown after willoe sets out for revenge on warran 'two to go was a goosd episode for the first time ever ew eould see buffy face off woth her old friend in order to try and help her the battle eas great between them@Grave the season final giles returns to help willow but she sets off to destroy the world.


The spike buffy relationship was a bit anoying as it was way to focused on them two sleeping together then actualy facing demons apart from willows stoty i would say that this season was very different from the earlier ones .

The darkest and most amazing., 2007-04-01
Compared to the other seasons, this season has the best script, acting and storylines yet.

The musical was a great episode that gave light to some of the dark storylines that came before and after it, until the end when Buffy reveals that Willow (who raised her from the dead in the first part of the episode Bargaining) pulled her from Heaven.

Other storylines like Riley and his wife returning, Amy being de-ratted, Buffy and Spikes lust, Willow and Tara breaking up, the death of Tara and Willows revenge on the trio (the current baddies *cough*Nerds*cough* in this season) were al great plots and kept you on the edge of your seat.

Dis anyone else feel like screaming and punching Warren and Andrew? UUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH they got on my nerves so much this season, which was good because they were meant too.

The extra's were also very good. The actors and actresses have imoroved so much since season 5 making the season trully spectacular!!!
