Customer reviews: A few surprises, 2006-02-17 The authors of this book clearly know their Friends: if you're looking for facts, this isn't a bad place to turn, since although it doesn't go deep into meaningless trivia, it does clear up some confusions I had concerning Americanisms (what a Q-tip is, for example). However, the opinions of the authors are frequently suspect, never more so in their treatment of The One Where Noone's Ready, an episode from series 3 that is probably the best Friends episode ever created. They lambast the episode, clearly misunderstanding the whole purpose and direction of Friends comedy in its earliest (and, undoubtedly, greatest) series. This is not an isolated case, as many opinions, particularly with regards to the later series the book covers, will grate with anyone who truly appreciates Friends, and possibly ruin the credibility of the tome as a whole.
Like "Friends" I do, 2005-05-27 Friends. Strong in the Force are they. For live in expensive apartments they do. But brightly they burn. For Yoda lives in Dagobah, and much misery does he have. "Friends" resloves this it does. Makes Yoda laugh and cry. For Birthday this book Yoda got. Crap it was. Make mockery of the series it did. Use lightsabre on it did I.
