 Not as resusable as advertised, 2010-05-08
Reusable to me means that if my son takes it off the wall, it should be able to go back on the wall with little issue. This doesn't seem to be the case. The decals that he hasn't removed have done very well to stay afixed to the wall. However, those that he's removed and we've put back have started to curl and eventually either fall off or won't remain fully afixed on the wall. I have this set in three different places in my house.
Playroom: The items that he hasn't tried to take off the wall have stayed on the wall just fine. They haven't started to peel away from the wall and they look adorable - they are all really good sizes too! I can't complain about that at all.
Bedroom: I placed these on the one free wall that we had in his room and that happens to catch the afternoon sun pretty regularly. This has proven to be extremely problematic and those are the first stickers that have started to peel back away from the wall. Granted they haven't come off entirely, this seems to be just an edge issue - which is strange.
Bathroom: To my surprise these have stayed on the wall perfectly. I thought since I had the issue with the sun, that the issue with steam would be similar - but these haven't peeled away at all. They are happily sticking to the wall in there.
So overall - if you plan to put these on a wall (that isn't in regular hot sun) and they are out of reach of your child picking them off the wall - then these are a 5 star item! If you have a toddler that gets curious and tries to take them off then I'd be prepared that not all items will stay on. For the price I don't think you can beat them even with the curling.
They advertise that you can rinse and reapply - I have yet to try this method and perhaps it would solve my curling issue.
