Reenact the adventures of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 with this fun and informative sticker book. Jam-packed with over 60 full-color stickers of the characters and situations from these popular Disney movies, the book is sure to be a hit with every fan! The eight-page booklet provides an outline for each image, with a descriptive caption. From the four-page insert, choose the correct sticker--it'll fit perfectly in the available space. For example, next to an outline of a sassy cowgirl is the caption "Yodeler: Jessie, the Yodeling Cowgirl, was Woody's spirited sidekick in the Woody's Roundup gang. She was once a little girl's favorite toy, but when the girl grew too old for dolls, Jessie suffered the heartbreak of being given away to charity." You'll find this bowlegged charmer inside the insert, waiting to join her caption. The booklet is divided into four categories: Andy's Room, Woody's Roundup, Sid's World, and The Outside World. Or venture "outside the box" and use the stickers to make an all-new picture book, complete with stories to fit the characters! Stickers can be used more than once if applied carefully. Just peel 'em off and stick 'em on again! (Ages 4 to 8) --Emilie CoulterCustomer reviews: Toy Story: Ultimate sticker Book, 2007-08-24 My grandson loves to play and interact with the movie with these stickers and if this child (who has moderate Autism ) can interact and make the connection with these stickers, I think any child could!!
Great images that don't stick so well., 2007-02-07 I bought this book for my 3 year old daughter who is infatuated with Toy Story 2. She loves it. There are a ton of stickers, and they cover both the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2. They're bright, vibrant and colorful, which really works well for a 3 year old.
The only knock on the book is what others have said -- the stickers don't stick so well. The book claims that these stickers are reusable. To achieve that, the entire book is printed on glossy paper. So while it is easy to peel off the stickers, it's a bit too easy. They sometimes come off by themselves, and unfortunately, the glue just isn't as adhesive on the 2nd or 3rd try.
This isn't a big issue for a 3 year old -- her attention is off to something else very quickly. If you've got an older child or someone who's a big collector of this stuff, they may be a bit disappointed, however.
